Frequently Asked Questions: Artwork

Can I get artwork or photos that are higher quality than what is currently provided on the downloads section?

Yes. By signing the Artwork Release form and faxing it to head office (775-971-9960) along with any service providers (ie. printers, web designers, etc.), you will receive a link to download Distributor-Only files including product shots, logos, etc. seen in much of the MXI Corp materials. You must provide an email address in order to receive the download link. There are some images that will be kept strictly for MXI Corp itself, but much of the artwork is there for use to produce original art.

I signed the Artwork Release form, and downloaded the Media Kit a long time ago. Can I get updated artwork or do I have to do the process over again?

No, all you need to do is request the artwork again, but indicate that you have previously downloaded it and would like the newest version of the Media Kit.

I saw a wonderful design/photograph on "--insert place/site here--"! Could I get that file from you?

This is a common question. Because there are so many distributors in the network and so many Xoçai™-related websites/promotionals cropping up everyday, custom designs and custom photos are everywhere. MXI Corp has direct control over www.mxicorp.com and www.xocai.com, so if you do not see the particular image(s)/promotionals anywhere on these two URLs, we can not provide it to you.

I've been told I can work with your graphics department to create custom promotional materials. Is that true?

Yes, we will try to work with you to create most custom artwork. Due to volume, there may be a 5 - 10 business day delay in your completed design. Be aware that these designs will be the property of MXI Corp and if applicable, will be posted in the downloads section for others to download and use, or made available for purchase as an accessory item. Email your request with full description of proposed idea.

My brother's friend's sister's boyfriend is a printer. He can produce your promotional materials for less. Can you send your corporate artwork to him so I can get your promotionals for less price?

No. Not because MXI Corp wants to make your life difficult, but for two reasons:
1) We have selected the highest quality vendors who will stand by their products and quality of work for the best price possible. There will always be someone who can produce for less.
2) We can not release original artwork to printers other than our vendors for quality control. You are welcome to create your own ORIGINAL artwork and have alternate vendors produce them as long as you have submitted the artwork to Corporate for approval.

I saw a website or piece of literature that claims Xoçai™ can cure "--insert ailment or disease--". Where can I get more information about these cures/benefits for my promotional material?

There are studies currently being done on Xoçai™, however, until those studies are completed, MXI Corp and it's Distributors can not make health claims about any of it's products. For clarification and use of the benefits of Dark Chocolate, email corporate office for more information or refer to Dr. Steven Warren's website, www.mydrchocolate.com. Please report any questionable promotional materials to MXI Corp. If you have a health-related testimonial, please post it on Dr. Steven Warren's website, www.mydrchocolate.com.

I want to view your video clips; how can I view them?

The video clips on the MXI Corp website and on the "Meeting-in-a-Box" use Apple Quicktime 7.0 or later as well as Microsoft Windows Media Player .wmv files.

Windows Users
You will by default be able to play the .wmv files. You will need to download Apple Quicktime. The application is free, though you may be prompted to purchase the "pro" version if you open the application itself, however you can ignore the prompt and continue on without purchase. Be patient, Quicktime is a fairly large download.

Apple/Mac Users
You will by default be able to play Quicktime files. You will need to download the Windows Media Player.

I have Quicktime, but when I click to view the movie clips, I just get a big blue "Q" (Quicktime logo). Why won't it work?

If you see the Quicktime logo, you have Quicktime installed. The reason you are seeing the "Q" is because your computer is downloading the movie and must download a certain portion of the movie before it starts to play (AKA "Buffering"). How long the "Q" appears on your screen is dependant on your internet speed/clip download speed. Once it downloads enough of the movie for the play head to stay behind the download bar, it will begin to play and the "Q" will be replaced by the movie clip. Basically, you have to wait for your computer to download enough of the movie.

In some cases, the browser does not understand that the Quicktime movie should start to play after the buffer is complete, so you may experience a long wait time where the full movie downloads before it starts and the "Q" disappears.

Why use Apple Quicktime?

Because there are no truely universal players that will play every type of compressed video file out there for both Windows and Mac platforms, we had to choose one. Quicktime is a leader in the video world offering the highest quality for some of the lowest file sizes. If you own an iPod, or use iTunes, you probably already have Quicktime installed on your computer.
